CSI CSI to appropriately designate budgeted funding requests requests for for a a a a a a a a CSI CSI Speaker Speaker in in in in the the fall term term must must be be be be submitted submitted by by September 30 requests requests for for for a a a a a a a a a a a a a Speaker Speaker in in in in in the the spring or or or or summer term term must be be be be submitted submitted by by January 31 Although funding cannot be be be be guaranteed for for every request request request due to to budget constraints CSI tries to to to accommodate as as as as many many requests as as as as possible possible during each scal year To allow as as as as as many many chapters as as as as as possible possible to to participate in in in in this program a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a chapter chapter cannot receive nancial assistance via the CSI Speaker Assistance Program in in two consecutive years Requesting a a a CSI CSI Speaker Speaker Chapters may complete and and submit the the the online CSI CSI CSI CSI Speaker Speaker Speaker Request Request Form to request assistance with securing a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a CSI CSI CSI Speaker Speaker (identi ed ed on on on the the the the CSI CSI CSI website) and and and reimbursement of of of half of of of the the the the approved speaker’s travel and and lodging costs in in in in one of the the following ways:
Method A: Chapter reimburses CSI CSI CSI Speaker Speaker for for all expenses expenses then submits invoices to to CSI CSI CSI Headquarters for for reimbursement of of up to half of of the the CSI CSI Speaker’s expenses expenses Method B: CSI CSI Speaker submits invoices to both the the chapter and CSI CSI Headquarters for reimbursement of of one half of of the the expenses from each CSI CSI Headquarters must approve approve the the request request before the the chapter initiation (i e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e reimbursement requests are not approved approved for for already-completed events) When a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a CSI CSI CSI CSI Speaker Speaker Request is approved approved CSI CSI CSI CSI Headquarters will will facilitate connections between the the the requested CSI CSI CSI CSI Speaker Speaker and the the the chapter chapter including establishing an an initial agreement that a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a chapter chapter will will follow-up with the the the CSI CSI CSI Speaker CSI CSI CSI CSI Speakers include CSI CSI CSI CSI Executive Council past presidents and and current o o o o o o o o o o cers CSI CSI CSI CSI Scholars and and other CSI CSI CSI CSI CSI leaders who volunteer their service without expecting honoraria or or or fees Each CSI CSI Speaker Speaker has many commitments months months ahead therefore chapters should plan at at at at least two months months in in in in advance at at at at at minimum to to to request a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a Speaker’s participation in in in in an an an an an initiation As much as possible an an an attempt is is made to to to to approve approve Speakers who are geographically close to to to to the the chapter making the the request Reimbursement will not be approved if a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a speaker is is contracted for a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a fee to to to provide a a a a a a a workshop or or or or similar service with with or or or or without chapter sponsorship Note: Chapters are welcome to to to to contact CSI CSI Speakers Speakers to to to to invite them to to to to speak at at chapter chapter functions without assistance assistance through through the the the CSI CSI CSI CSI Speakers Speakers Speakers Assistance Assistance Program Program However chapters that wish to to to to host a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a CSI CSI CSI CSI Speaker Speaker Speaker Speaker with with assistance assistance through through the the the CSI CSI CSI CSI Speakers Speakers Assistance Assistance Program Program must complete the CSI CSI Speaker Speaker Request Form Fall 2019
